Walking Floor transport
Walking Floor our core business, also called self-unloader, are all-loaders that can unload themselves, it is a specific type of semi-trailer that can carry all kinds of loose bulk goods. These are loaded along the top by a crane or wheel loader, and then the load comes out along the back.
But “Walking Floors” go even further: they can also load automatically. Merchandise in big bags or in pallets can be placed at the back of the semi-trailer and automatically drawn into the hold.
Cargo
A push floor lorry is a universal semi-trailer that can transport many types of merchandise. It is mainly used for jumbled merchandise.
- Recycling and energy: wooden by-products, home or company waste, construction waste or rubbles, paper and cardboard, plastic, rubber, biodegradable waste, biomass waste, pellets, dust waste, all sorts of metals, scrap iron, write-offs, …
- Agriculture: cereals, beetroots, fertilisers, residual products, …
- Consumers: all sorts of merchandise in pallets, bigbags, …
In short, a Walking Floor provides you with a solution for each type of product.
Technical features
Aluminium
Push floor lorries are made of aluminium, which puts a limit to its maximum weight. On the upper side, semi-trailers are strengthened with a metallic frame, making them more resistant to blows.

Three types of tarpaulin covering
The cover system exist in three different forms:
- Tarpaulin to roll up manually
- Two-part hydraulic tarpaulin
- Hydraulic tarpaulin
These are explained further below.

Tarpaulin covering
Tarpaulin to roll up manually
This is the traditional system. The trailer is closed manually by a ‘roll-up bache’. The advantages are: waterproof and very light.
Hydraulic tarpaulin
This bache opens in two parts. This is ideal for transporting recyclable waste material. It is safe and fast, but not waterproof.
Hydraulic tarpaulin
This tarpaulin is innovative and unique on the market. This traditional tarpaulin to be rolled up is replaced by a hydraulic system. Advantages:
→ Waterproof.
→ Safety for the driver: he no longer has to climb up on to the semi-trailer.
→ Easy to use: this tarpaulin is easy to shut by simply pressing a button.
→ And most of all, improved transporting speed
